KO OLINA, OAHU, HAWAII – May 3, 2010 – The luxurious JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa at Ko Olina announced the addition of two group sales managers, Asha Wignarajah and Dion Kiernan, based in California and Ohio, respectively
“Having Asha and Dion strategically positioned on the mainland is a great asset to our resort as it further enables us to conduct face-to-face meetings with target group business across the country,” said Dan Banchiu, general manager of JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa. “Together, they have a combined 44 years of sales experience with great contacts and proven results.”
Based in Northern California, Wignarajah is responsible for attracting corporate meetings and incentive events to JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa. Prior to joining the resort’s team, she represented 13 Marriott resorts throughout Hawaii, Mexico and the Caribbean. She also previously worked with Hawaii World/Distinguished Resorts for 14 years.
Based in Cleveland, OH, Kiernan joins the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa team with 27 years of sales experience. He most recently represented Renaissance Hotels & Resorts as National Director of Business Development and was previously the Director of Sales at Renaissance Cleveland Hotel.!
